Proverbs 29:18 says that without a vision the people perish.
Most of the time we quote that verse to mean that what people or organizations or a church really need is a unified goal, or they’ll fall apart. The word Solomon used that got translated to “vision” actually means a revelation of God. The usage of that word in Scripture and why Solomon used it is far better and much more epic than just pitching a goal that others can rally behind. We need an ongoing revelation of God in our individual lives and in our corporate experience, or we won’t really have a walk with God.
The good thing is that God gives it to those who ask. Scripture and even modern history point that out.Play in new window | Download (Duration: 51:59 — 14.0MB)
