Children’s Ministry

Discipling our children to know and follow Christ.

As we partner with families, it is our desire that our children at Hope in the City would:

  • KNOW Jesus as their Savior and worship Him freely; be baptized in water and with the Holy Spirit
  • GROW in their walk as they learn the truths and disciplines of the Christian faith
  • SERVE and extend to others the same love and forgiveness they have received
  • SOW truth into their own community; gain God’s heart for those who do not know Him; develop a Godly worldview.

Curriculum for Kids

Hope in the City uses a curriculum by David C. Cook called “Tru” because we believe that the 7 Pillars of the Tru Philosophy is biblically based and that their curriculum is one of the best available. To read more about each “pillar” click here.

Security for Kids

To ensure the safety of your children, Hope In The City provides a secure area for the kids and only allows authorized adults into that area. Simple technology is used to check families into the secure area and then release kids to their parents at the end of the service.
