What starts here changes the world

Hope in the City’s youth ministry is called the CORE, which stands for Christ Our Redeemer Emmanuel. Our prayer is that any time someone interacts with our community that they experience Christ!

We know that there are a lot of things competing for your time! We’re not just another activity to add to your busy schedule. Our prayer is that your time with us will be encouraging, impactful, and life changing. When you are a part of the CORE, you get to…

  • Be part of a community where you can be raw & real…100% yourself
  • Thrive in this season, not just survive
  • Be more like Jesus!
  • Have a lasting impact on those around you
  • Walk in the purpose and destiny that God has for you
  • Receive tools that will help you now and in years to come

The leadership team at the CORE is all about helping you follow Jesus more fully, and we have a lot of fun in the process!

During sermon on Sunday mornings – gather in foyer, meet in Youth Room

Wednesday nights – 7-9 pm, Youth Room

These groups are gender specific and are led by adults or high school students. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where deep relationships are built and students have peers supporting them in their walk with God. We read God’s word each week, process how it relates to our lives, pray for each other, hold each other accountable, and more!

We’re committed to partnering with you to see your youth understand and embrace who God created them to be and walk in all that He has for them! We want to support the things that you’re instilling at home and provide opportunities for your sons and daughters to grow spiritually. Our goal is to create an environment where youth can experience God for themselves. Every week we see God do things that only He can do … heal, transform, convict, encourage, and more. The CORE leadership team does an incredible job of walking with the youth week in and week out as they apply what they’re learning to daily life.
